AFRICAN AMERICAN PARADE CELEBRATION

The 34th Annual African American Parade Celebration was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 downtown Shreveport.  This is a significant time in America and we want to honor and celebrate the work of African American communities, as well as all of the culturally diverse communities that stand with us to bring about change. Due to the COVID-19 virus we will be recognizing and thanking many of our frontline workers at 12:30pm at the Grand Stand in front of the Court House on Texas Street, all frontline and Medical Workers are invited to meet us there.  David Raines Community Health Center provided COVID 19 Vaccination shots and Booster Shots at the  during the African American Parade Celebration.   Also LSU Health Shreveport provided COVID 19 testing along the Parade Route on Texas Street and  Medical Agencies as well.

Thanks to all of our sponsors including the African American Celebration Parade Committee, Harrah's New Orleans, COMCAST,  the City of Shreveport SPAR and everyone who helped to make this parade another success.
